Hi everyone,
I know this looks like I am late to the band wagon but I have been using these products since they came out. As a hairdresser I wanted to give you a true review of these. So today I am going to be reviewing the shampoo and the conditioner from the range. I have been using them for the past 2-3 months. I have done this as I want the review to be as accurate as possible. Also it gives my hair time to get use to the new product, making the post more accurate. I hope you learn something new and maybe find a new product you want to try.
What does it do?
This is a shampoo and conditioner that works on a reverse system. You have to start with the pre-shampoo conditioner and follow with the shampoo. Being a hairdresser this concept is completely new to me and so I just knew I had to try it. The idea is by working in the reverse system the shampoo will wash away any weight on the hair. Leaving you with amazing volume.
How to use?
1. Start by wetting your hair.
2. Apply the conditioner to the ends and mid-lengths of your hair. Leave this on for 1 minute.
3. Rinse off the conditioner.
4. Next apply the shampoo, make sure you get a good lather.
5. Rinse the shampoo off.
What is different about these products compared to other volume shampoo and conditioners?
Obviously the first thing you notice is that you use the conditioner first. By doing this you are softening the hair. Following with the shampoo removes the excess weight that is left on the hair after you use a conditioner. What make these products amazing is what is inside them. The conditioner contains Fleximax Volumizers and Fibre Polishing Actives. Which help to add volume and binds the hairs cuticle for a polished smooth result. The shampoo contains Fleximax Volumizers to help control static and flyaway hairs. Together they do the job just right. These products are made to be used together, and are not made to be used with different shampoos and conditioners.
What is good about them?
- Adds volume.
- Smells divine.
- The shampoo lathers well.
- The packaging is stunning.
What is bad about them?
- It did take my hair quite a while to get use to using it.
- To start with my hair felt like it needed washing sooner than normal.
-The conditioner is extremely runny, the consistency I would says feels as if it was watered down.
Who is it aimed at?
This product is definitely aimed at people with fine hair. I would not recommended this for someone who has damaged or over processed hair, as this will not leave it feeling in better condition. I personally found that this did not give me enough softness to my hair. Don't get me wrong my hair felt lovely after using it. There just wasn't enough conditioning benefits for me. But if you have fine limp hair you should totally try this. As they are lovely products.
