Hi everyone,
I see a lot of bloggers doing tag posts and I have to say I absolutely love reading them. Well at the beginning of last week I was tagged to do the beauty tag. You say who tagged you? It was the very beautiful Samantha Ruth from Lavender and Honey. If you don't read her blog totally head over there and give her a look. Her posts are extremely well written and every post layout is flawless. So if you love reading tags, stick around and give mine a read.
1. If you could have anyone in the world do your make-up who would it be?
If you read my Liebster award post, you would know I love Julianne Hough. So I would have to say her make-up artist Spencer Barnes. His work is incredible and Julianne always looks flawless and so simple. One of my favourite looks Spencer has done for her would have to be the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards. Her make-up was so simple yet she looked undeniably beautiful. The look she wore is exactly my taste in make-up. It is so natural but looks incredible at the same time. Also it compliments her face incredibly.

2. What's your top make-up tip?
Less is more. I mean seriously if you think about this logically caking your make-up on is really not a good look. There really is no need to go out looking like you have applied it using a trowel. So I believe the simpler and more natural the make-up is the more stunning you look.
3. What's one skincare item you couldn't live without?
I would have to say the Neal's Yard Remedies orange flower facial oil. This oil is a dream. The scent is heaven sent, its that good. This soaks into the skin like nothing I have ever used before. I use this once a week and it keeps my skin lovely and moisturised. If you are looking for an oil, go check this one out.
4. What are you worst at when it comes to applying makeup?
OMG this would have to be contouring. I am getting better but when I first started using it, it was like say hello to the joker. Even sometimes now I go a bit to heavy and have to start all over again. It took me so long to get use to using contour as like I said, to start with I was absolutely rubbish at using it. I mostly stick to paler contour now as I know if I am let loose with a darker one, all hell will break loose.
5. What's your biggest pet peeve when it comes to beauty?
I am a regular fake tanner and my pet peeve would have to branch off of this. My pet peeve is patchy knees. I know it doesn't sound like much but no matter how much I exfoliate and moisturise. I always wake up in the morning with patchy knees after tanning. I absolutely hate this as I do literally everything I can do to avoid this happening. Then it happens. Does this happen to you?
6. What's your favourite make-up era?
I would have to say the 1950's. An era of rock and roll. This is really shown in the make-up and of course it wouldn't be the 50's without a red lip. I have to say I am a lover of a red lip, I don't wear it very often. But it is always a winner.
7. What's your guilty pleasure product?
St Tropez self tanning lotion. I could and would wear this all year round. That's how much I love it. This is the product that no matter the price, I will splurge on it every time. Honestly I love it that much.
8. What's your "underdog" product?
Neal's Yard Remedies White Tea Facial Mist. I know I talk about NYR a lot. But that's because I am a consultant for them so I always use their products, but mostly because I love their products. I am not just saying this either. This I would describe as a surprise in a bottle. When I first saw it I thought "its just a mist". This is not just a mist. Shut your eyes and spray it onto your skin, you have instantly been transferred to a spa. Honestly. This also leaves your skin feeling amazingly cool. Do not underestimate this small bottle of product and definitely go out and try it.
9. What's your favourite make-up product of 2015?
Bareminerals correcting concealer SPF20 in light 2. This concealer was purchased many times throughout 2015 and lets face it, will be for the foreseeable future. This has to be one of the best concealers I have ever tried. Everything from the consistency to the perfect colour match makes this a absolute winner for me. Go check this one out if your looking for that life changing concealer.
