Biore charcoal pore strips review

Hi everyone,

I am always on the hunt for new products to try. So when I was wondering down the skincare aisle in Tesco and saw these I knew I had to pick them up. I mean they scream me. Like come on charcoal pore strips, what more could a girl ask for? Ok yes chocolate maybe. But trust me girlies if your looking for results you don't need to look any further than these biore pore strips. They are so good I am using one as I write this.

So lets start with what are these. They are strips that go across your nose and they clean out impurities from the skin. These are said to be able to remove weeks of grime out of your pores. Do I believe them? Yes I do, the first one I ever done was let me say one of the most satisfying things I have ever seen. Like the grime out of my pores was literally attached to it.

They do original ones of these too but I went with the charcoal. Why? This is because charcoal is known for drawing out impurities from the skin. This can even be impurities that are deep down within the pore. These ones also contain natural charcoal, which is amazing for your skin.

Sachet they come in
What makes these strips different to others on the market is that they have a C-bond technology. This removes the dirt and oils from the skin that build up to become blackheads. The purifying charcoal powder in these makes the strip act as a sponge. Causing it to draw out and absorb the excess oil and dirt under the skin. Using the strips can help to keep the oils at bay for around 24 hours. Which is amazing.

Pore strip before use
I guess your wondering how do you use them. Well they all come individually wrapped. You rip the packet and take it out. The strip comes on a piece of clear plastic. You have to twist it slightly to split it a little. Then you wet you nose and peel the strip off and apply it to your nose. The strip will not stick if your nose is not wet. Then you leave it for 10-15 minutes. During this time you will feel a slight tingling sensation as it works. The strip will also tighten on your nose and go from feeling soft to like paper-mache. Once the time is up you peel it off from the sides pulling towards the middle. I will warn you if you have a large build up in your pores, this does hurt. So just be careful. Once it is off just wipe the skin with a damp flannel to remove any excess on the skin. Then take pride at looking at your pores on the strip. I will just say you may find the skin is quite pink after, do not panic this goes down. It is just due to the deep clean.

They don't look great but they work miracles
I personally love these. I have been looking for something like this for ages. As I have always suffered with badly blocked pores. These are amazing and do the job perfectly. My pores on my nose are now less visible. Also my makeup applies so much better. I would highly recommend these to everyone I know.

You can buy these from Boots for £9.49.

So that's my review of the Biore charcoal pore strips. Have you tried these? Or anything else from Biore? Let me know in the comments, especially if you think I should try something.

Love
Zoe x
