Things have changed.....

Hi everyone.

Since I last posted a lot has changed.

I am still the Norfolk Blondie. Blonde by hair, blonde by nature.
But as you get older your passions change and so does your life.
Lets talk about it..

So I'm still hairdresser. I run my own business which I have
for the past two years. This is and always will be my greatest passion.
I love hair. I love talking about it, I love doing it and most of all
I love peoples reactions to it.

Another thing that's still my passion is beauty. I have always been
a lover of beauty. Having took a hair and beauty diploma back
in high school, it will always hold a soft spot in my heart.
But nowadays that's not one of my main passions anymore.

Like I said life changes.

So let's look at that. Im now engaged. Which reminds me every day of how lucky I am and how much one person can change your life. Nothing is stronger than your love for someone and everyday I am reminded of how much I love and am loved. But it's not only an engagement. We bought our first house. Though the house is not what we originally looked for, its ours.

You're probably wondering about the house. So we live in a 3 bed semi detached EX authority house. So yes its large. Rooms are a good size. But it's not in the best condition. We knew this before we bought it as we bought it in mind of a renovation. The problems are worst than we expected but over time we will tackle them together.

In December 2020 we also started our family by introducing the most wonderful puppy into our life. So, earlier than we thought we was collecting him, Monty came into our life, a fox red Labrador. It was love at first sight as soon as we saw him.

This is where my dilemma comes in. The Norfolk Blondie has always been hair and beauty related with the odd lifestyle put in there. But though they are my passions, as I have stated passions change. So I want to make my platform more about me, my life and our massive renovation. Don't fear all the usual posts will be coming but it's time for a change.

The Norfolk Blondie is no longer about hair and beauty. It's about real life subjects. It's about life as an adult. Be that renovation, wedding, work or real life problems like financially running a home. I want my blog to be a space where I can talk openly about life. Because everyone thinks they have it sussed, till they realise actually they don't.

So this is not an end to an era, this is the beginning of the next chapter.

Will you join me?
