So as some of you may know, from previous blog post I have written, I am a Neal's Yard Remedies consultant. When I mention this to people the most asked question is "what is that?". I see where they come from. Although it pretty much sums it up in the title, it gives no idea of what it actually involves. So I thought I would write a post to tell you all about it. Also I will be talking about NYR to give you an idea of who they are and what they do.
Who are Neal's Yard Remedies?
I know some of you or even most of you will know who this is. But I also know some of you may not. I know when I first got introduced to NYR products I had never even heard of them. NYR are a British company who specialise in organic skincare products. Which, hello, what more are we looking for. I know what you are thinking, just another company that advertise to be organic, isn't most thing now? But there is so many factors that make this company so amazing and different from others. NYR is owned and run by the Kindersley family, making this a family business. They are a family who are passionate about organic living. As I mentioned before they are made in Britain. To be specific in their beautiful eco-factory in the stunning Dorset countryside. All the products are made with pure natural organic ingredients. The family also own a family farm in Berkshire. Between the family farm and the eco-factory the family are able to grow some of their own organic ingredients that they use in the products.
What do NYR sell?
Neal's Yard Remedies sells an arrange of different products. There is something for everyone. Here is a few things they sell. Skincare, body lotions/butters, mineral makeup, aromatherapy essential oils, aromatherapy blends, herbal remedies, books, superfoods, supplements, organic herbal tea, massage oils, mother and baby products, candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, hand creams, shower gels, foaming bath, bath oils, shampoos and conditioners and men's skincare. This is just the basics they do so much.
What is a NYR consultant?
A NYR consultant is someone who works for NYR to sell their products. But you work on your own time so your hours are flexible to your lifestyle. Its amazing way to earn extra income. Whether this be outside of your normal work or while you are being a stay at home mum. You earn through the commission you make from your sales. You can set your own goals. So there is no working to someone else's router, you can go at you own pace. Just remember this is your own business, you do it your way. You are also given your own website. This is where you will direct your customers to places orders if they are not going to place orders directly through you. You will also have to order a starter kit, which will include everything from products to business tools. This kit is completely worth the money and its contents is incredible. You can also hold parties which is amazing. You can get a group of friends together and try out products, have a few drinks and do a few facials. Could that sound like a better evening? And you would be making money from it.
