Hi everyone,
Its that time again, the first Sunday of the month. Which can only mean one thing, a favourites post. As all of you will know by now, if you have been reading my blog for a while, this is one of my favourite posts to read and write. May was different for favourites as I didn't try out many new things. So when it came to writing this post I just couldn't think of anything new I could give you. But I managed to find some new products I have been loving and also some products you may recognise from other posts. So lets get on.
Hair:
Girlz Only Haircare Dry Shampoo: Party Nights
I picked this up in my local Tesco as I was in a hurry and they didn't have much choice on the dry shampoo front. But this pleasantly surprised me. Firstly this was like £1.50. Yes you read that right £1.50. Which is amazing. Also because they were so cheap I actually purchased two of them. This one and also the one for light and blonde hair, which I have not yet used. Back to this one. The smell is lovely, I can only describe it as a really girly scent. Something I loved about this is that I could still smell it in my hair throughout the day. I didn't find this one to be too powdery either, which you do tend to find with cheaper ones. The size of this can is perfect as it fits nicely into your handbag, so is great for travelling. I even found that this dry shampoo still worked well even after not washing my hair for two days. Overall I love this and if you are looking for a cheaper dry shampoo, I recommend this one.
Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Deep Nourishing Intensive Mask
I love this hair mask. It is so conditioning and is perfect for if your hair is really dry. As this is super intensive. This is aimed at dry, damaged hair. Which my hair isn't damaged but it is quite dry. The scent is coconut, which is super creamy and smells amazing. This mask leaves your hair feeling ultra soft and in amazing condition.
Beauty:
The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Serum
I spoke about this serum in one of my other blog posts where I reviewed it. You can find that here. This serum is really lovely. It is lovely and light, which makes it absorb into you skin incredibly well. Also it smells just like sherbet. This is aimed at people who are 30-40s. Which I know isn't me, but it really helps with any dry patches on my skin. I use this mornings and evenings just before my moisturiser everyday. If you are over 30 or suffer with dry skin I highly recommend you give this a go.
Champneys Heavenly Days Relaxing Shower Cream
The Body Shop Glazed Apple Sugar Scrub
As you all know I love a good scrub. This one is incredible. Being a sugar scrub it is really scrubby. It is not too abrasive but it is not the most gentle. It is a lovely thick consistency. This smells so amazing. I know this is one of their Christmas scents but if you haven't tried it, if they have it next Christmas give it a go.
Green Tea
Food:
Green Tea
I am so into green tea at the moment. I never thought I would like it but I went into tesco and picked up these three. I went for two fruity ones because I thought they would be the best bet to go for. Both are very nice I would say my favourite is the apple and pear. But they're both gorgeous. The salted caramel one was purely because I have a salted caramel addiction. This is sweet and lovely. I think it may be my favourite out of all three. A green tea is the perfect way to end the day.
My YouTube Channel
Other:
My YouTube Channel
So in May I started my YouTube channel. I have really enjoyed making the few videos I have done. I have only just started so it is early days but I would love if you checked out my channel and let me know what you think. I will be posting videos about hair, beauty, food and lifestyle. I hope to post every two weeks and I am really looking forward to it. You can find my channel here.
Vivianna does makeups snapchat
I have been loving watching Anna on snapchat. Her snapchats always give me a giggle. Whether that be her going to her bootcamp and finishing off out of breath and sweaty. Or her getting up early to finish editing a post or video. She has amazing commitment to her work and she is incredibly inspiring. Especially for me. I love when she just finishes a blog post on the day of publishing and she says that it is "freshly squeezed". I always think that now when my posts are just ready on the day of publishing. I always look forward to watching what she has been up to in the day.
So they are my May favourites. What was you loving through May? Have you tried anything I mentioned? Let me know in the comments. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Love
Zoe x
